CRICKET SHOES
Cricket shoes are a very important part of your clothing. During a game you could be on your feet for up to 2-3 hours. Every step you generate creates a force that is 2x5 your body weight through your foot. A fast bowler can generate 9x that at the point of delivery.
Cricket shoes are usually spiked as this allows greater traction on the ground when running. It is a matter of personal preference to the bowler what spikes he has on his cricket shoes and the choice can range from Full Spike, Half spike (where the spikes are at the front only), Rubbers (with no spikes, just rubber moulding grips) and Adjustable (can add or remove spikes and replace with rubber. The rule of thumb when choosing spikes for your cricket shoes is that the softer the surface the more useful spikes are, the harder the surface the less you will need them.
